Brain tumours
You need to go to your local Accident and Emergency (A&E) department if you have severe symptoms such as fits (seizures).

See your GP if you notice a change that isn't normal for you. Or if you have any of the possible signs and symptoms of a brain tumour.
Your GP should arrange for you to see a specialist if you have symptoms that could be due to a brain or spinal cord tumour.
There is no national screening programme for brain or spinal cord tumours in the UK.
You usually have scans to look at your brain. These might include an MRI scan, CT scan or PET-CT scan. Your doctor might also arrange some other tests.
